yahoo marketing seems to cost less , i have a budget of $300 a month for marketing but a internet marketing agent wants me to shell out $800 but they reckon theyll put me on top of other sites, allocate a personal agent who will guide me on my marketing , and i can specify the area i would like to aim for my products . i would like to know if its better to use the agent or market through yahoo marketing . thanks brian -www.pear69.co.uk

Recently, all of the search categories relating to my business’s products have been reconfigured where non-related spam listings are dominating the rankings. There are 31 major search categories related to my specific business and almost all of them now have this problem. I have sent three support requests to tech service and have received the same form letter response every time. I believe there is a SERIOUS flaw with the new Yahoo web crawler. Is anyone else seeing this same problem? Does anyone know how to contact a human being at Yahoo tech to bring it to their attention? Until the problem is resolved, the Yahoo search engine is practically useless.I would think they would want to know. Any thoughts?

Hello, I am currently using websitepros to submit my website to all the major search engines. With a website visibility package. NOW, whenever I speak to one of their agents they always refrain me from using double words! HOWEVER, my competitors use double words if not 30-50times over the website and they seem to be beating me on rankings on the search engine! WHAT DO I DO? If you want to see what I am talking about google, “Buffalo DJ” I used to be #1 but the first two companies have beat me and I am nowhere on their. I own Phenomenon Sound.
Please Help Thanks,
Ryan

I want to know if it’s possible to purchase a domain name, put up a website and get ranked for a set of keywords in under a month. People talk of the Google Sandbox and I understand that it’s in a search engine’s best interest to make sure that a website will “stand the test of time” before ranking them well in their rankings, but what of sites that are brand new, but have valuable information on them?

My website is not ranking on the yahoo search engine anymore, I used to get good rankings on Google, MSN and Yahoo. While it is ranking successfully both on Google and MSN, at one point in time I could not find my website on yahoo anymore.

I have a site that I’m trying to move up the Yahoo! Search rankings for a particular term. It’s at something like 179th. Is there a way to tell what my site’s rank is for a particular search term without having to scroll through 10-20 pages of results looking for it each day? Anything similar for that other search engine?

No. Just use the Title element http://www.seo-blog.com/title-element.ph… and the description meta http://www.seo-blog.com/description-meta… and you will be fine.
