technically, I am a senior and really interested in computers.
my favorite branches of computer are those that I mentioned. Since I was a kid, I have gotten good grades in mathematics, or i better say the only course that i was very good at. I don’t wanna be cocky, but i am very talented at mathematics and algebra.
so, I want to go to full sail university and I am thinking about which course to take internet marketing or web design
which do you prefer, and which one of those are more useful in future and gives you a good amount of money.

I was diverted to certain websites but they don’t teach beginners but instead asked to purchase some programmes which I did (I don’t now why, but I did OMG and end up not using it cos I don;t know what to do with them). I need help to begin with.

I have an online store and the profit margin on various items range from about 20-$100. I have heard PPC advertising does work, but I have tried it with my store and it just did not work out.

My boss asked me to come up with a number to do the following from home:
-Google AdWords
-Yahoo! Ads
-Constant Contact weekly newsletters and harvesting of new email addresses
-consultation on the development of our new website, plus the site maintenance (updates, promotions, etc.)
-contacting travel agencies/business to try to get group and corporate accounts
This is for a small hotel. What’s a fair monthly fee for all this work?

I’ve only competed SEO work for my own websites (sold or currently own). So, anyway, I am not sure how much to charge for a real estate company out of CA. As you know you can’t promise high rankings. That being said, I’d like to offer the following services but again NOT sure what my price should be. Any suggestions?
1.Keyword Research, 2.Search Engine Report, 3.Creation of both title and description tags, 4.Creation of ALT tags, 5.Creation of H1-H2 Tags, 6.Search Engine Submissions to 500 search engines and directories related to real state, 7.Manual link requests to related sites, 8.W3C validations of home page and 9.Submit real estate article(s) to 250 article directories.
If I setup a link page for this real estate agent, I’d set it up so it does not look like an exchange program. What I’d suggest is adding links that would be interest to the visitors but why visit them? More in the format of what makes your site unique/different?

I’ve fluctuated in my use of software for reporting search engine rankings. I feel that, on one hand, they shift the focus from ‘results’ to monitoring and getting hung up on rankings. On the other hand, using a large base of keywords that I feel represent the spectrum of what the site is optimizing for can some times provide some objective metric for determining the general direction your efforts are going.

I am 24. I play guitars (advanced) and the piano. I am good at programming and puzzle solving. I am pretty much everything a perfect computer geek needs to be. I am planning to start off a company before which I will need to get a feel of how marketing works on the internet. I would like to create niche blogs but I don’t see where I should start and what topic would be ideal for me. Could you suggest a way for me to get things going.
