I have a blog which, up until now, has always focused on taxes. I have great page rankings when using tax terms. Taxes are my bread-and-butter of my business and therefore it’s crucial I stay highly ranked in that ares. I would like to start posting about some general business topics, but I’m afraid the search engines may see my keywords move away from taxes and ding my page rankings for tax searches. Is this a valid concern?

I’ve made several sites before and i can never seem to get the .net ones ranked at all whereas the .coms and .co.uk’s seem to rank highly in google and yahoo. Does it make any difference what the extension is with regards to rankings?

I’ve got a couple of really helpful websites. I’ve submitted my site to every search engine that I know of. I’ve done the keywords and phrases and have my meta tags done. Still I’ll search for my site and it doesn’t rank very high…
Is there a way to get my websites higher in the rankings with out spending a billion dollars?
Thanks for any help.

I’m the webmaster of an airsoft website that’s seen much success in the past 5-6 months with search engine rankings. It’s been on the first page results for several of the biggest search engine’s for many of my top keywords. I was receiving lots of traffic from search engines (google esp.) until just about a week ago when my website simply dropped off the map on Google.com. It’s still listed, but it went from 1st page results to “I can’t even find them” results. About a month ago I became a member of a traffic exchange program to help boost my Alexa Ranking. My question is this, do traffic exchange programs harm your google search engine ranking? I can’t really find any other reason why it would have dropped so quickly! Thanks for your help!
