You could talk about how many sites (like Facebook, MySpace, etc) are tailoring the internet marketing that you see to relate specifically to you based on your preferences and/or activities.

Hi there,
Being an ambitious entrepreneurial-orientated guy (currently involved in the property business and also with a great passion about fashion and photomodelling), I am now enthusiastically looking to get the most out of blogging, RSS and kindred types of the available modern internet marketing strategies and techniques in order to effectivelly grow and profit from any business I might be involved in or alternatively the one I would like to start.
In advance Many Thanks.

help create a new handbag business for me…All of the templates that I like are done by merchant moms, wahmshoppes, pappashoppe, proshoppe, posh carts, and etc…My problem is that I want to be seen & picked up by the search engines, and some1 told me that u needed a major hosting company to host you if you didn’t want to b seen @ the end of the list..I want to use the web designers from wahmshoppes, but I don’t want that to affect my search standings with google, msn, & yahoo. So after all this, does any1 know if you using a not so popular web host, makes a difference, or is it like I thought, your search standings are determined by your meta tags, title descriptions, and other various things?? Please some1 spell this out for me in laymen terms that I will understand, becuz I’m no computer wizard!! I just want to get good rankings to kick my new business off..Please help me…Any suggestions or free info for helping me get started? Thanks, Muah

OK So a startup company which I have been doing some freelance work for (I’m a designer) have offered me a 2% share in their company in exchange for occasional work. This startup company is basically a website which sells computer peripherals, much like Misco and Dabs etc. This 2% (non liable) will pay a yearly dividend at the end of every tax year.
In exchange I think they are looking for me to create the occasional banner advertisement and generate a weekly HTML email (Not much work once you have the basic template designed) and to consult them about improvements to the site including rankings, search engines , anything for promotion etc…
I’m wondering what business heads advice to me would be, I’m thinking it’s a good idea although I could end up losing out on time if it doesn’t take off. Looking at the profits of Misco and Dabs etc though there is a big market for what they are doing!
They’re coming back to me with a full proposal about the work they want me to do this week, and I said I’d get some advice first, so if anyone’s got any pearls of wisdom, do tell!
Cheers

I have launched my website at www.thesportinglodge.co.uk
and have started seo in earnest.
Can someone please tell me what it means to submit a site map to the search engines, why does it help rankings and how is it done please?

I am not looking to gain rankings, I just want my site to appear when some one searches for the name of my company. I tried to use some meta tags that were supposed to be up to date but I didn’t have any luck. Can anyone plug some tags in for me that will work? I have already tried tags from various websites. I would greatly appreciate the help. I am stumped.
