I have a blog which, up until now, has always focused on taxes. I have great page rankings when using tax terms. Taxes are my bread-and-butter of my business and therefore it’s crucial I stay highly ranked in that ares. I would like to start posting about some general business topics, but I’m afraid the search engines may see my keywords move away from taxes and ding my page rankings for tax searches. Is this a valid concern?

At the moment http://www.unusedrooms.com is hosted in Australia and we do very well with our rankings in the search engines. Most of our traffic is from this area (Asia/Pacific) and we do well but very little traffic comes from the USA.
Would hosting a site in the USA or UK help me attract customers from those areas.
All of our hits come directly from search engines with no advertising so that will not affect the traffic.
We are a hotel and tour based site in all regions, with no emphasis on any specific area.
Please let me know your thoughts.

My website is climbing the search engines, and I expect to be on the first page for 3-5 of my top keywords within the next few months if all goes well. My biggest fear is that my first page rankings won’t equal heavy traffic (and ultimately conversions). Does anyone have any real-life experience on whether first page rankings guarantee heavy traffic?
I have an attractive site that works as fast and as easily as my competitors. The address is www.liverystable.net, it is a classifieds site where people can list horses for sale.

I’ve heard that reciprocal linking is good for SEO to increase PR and search engine rankings. But wouldn’t advertising other people’s junk on my site decrease the value of my site?

i.e. www.monkeys.com/banana.php …. would that backlink benefit my ENTIRE site in search engine rankings, or only banana.php?

I have submitted it to search engines, but it doesn’t come up when I search for it. I know this can take some time, but is there anything else I can do to make it move up?
If I get lots of people to go to it will it move up?
If so, please visit! It’s smallbizpr.wordpress.com.
Thanks all.

I assume you are referring to the travel sites. They will list the results that fit your search the best. Then from there you will have the option to change how you want the results to appear. I.e. lowest price first, etc. This way you can find the best hotel for you.
I hope this answers your question

I would say that the quality beats the quantity, in other words, update as often as you can produce some good content.
On the other hand, hourly updates with junk will do more harm then good.
