I have 2 small websites www.letmepaintyourface.co.uk and www.tatts4u.co.uk and am trying to get more links to my sites without getting banned by any of the search engines. I’ve tried Link Market (average) and Link2me (the same) but am not seeing any dramatic improvement in either traffic or PR. Can anybody recommend a decent paid or otherwise site which will increase my Google rankings. Have heard good things about Build-Reciprocal-links.com, does anyone have any experience with these or any other sites like this (Not interested in link farms)
Thanks,

We are trying to create blogs for SEO reasons. Is it better to have a blog software installed on our own site to create a URL like – http://blog.mydomain.com or will a blog on wordpress site with links to our site achieve the same/better result?
I’m told that we will continue to own the content even if it is hosted on wordpress…so I guess we are fine there. The main concern – which approach will help us to organically improve our rankings in the search engines.
Any insight into this is appreciated.
Thank you.

I’m trying to get my site crawled by more search engines and get better page rankings. I want more incoming links, but I don’t want to junk up my site with a bunch of reciprocal link.

I’ve heard that reciprocal linking is good for SEO to increase PR and search engine rankings. But wouldn’t advertising other people’s junk on my site decrease the value of my site?

I heard that if you get sites to link to you then you will get good search engine rankings. But if I have hundreds of links on many different websites (that I posted) such as Ebay, forums and message boards, will that also increase my ranking because I have many links?

I have a website at http://www.myonlinetv.net/ which offers internet TV for a small one time fee. I think it is a great way to watch television, but I need to get the word out. I am told I need better search engine rankings, and that good backlinks are one way to do it. However, getting these links are a time consuming process. So is there a better way to do it?
