They pay me around 4% commission on products that I promote. While this is not a lot, I make up for it by referring a high volume of sales. This is the holidays so many many people are shopping online. People will buy multiple items on Amazon because they have such a good checkout system which offers people related items as options to purchase. What I do is choose a specific product to promote on Amazon and then register a domain name with the keywords in the domain. I would then promote only that product on my site. It's turning out to be a nice month in profits for me as I have lots of these sites promoting various products online. While I am able to make money while I'm away from my computer, the whole set up which consists of researching keywords and building the sites took some initial work. It is not a get rich overnight type of business like some people may lead you to believe but it is a reliable and hands free business after you set it up. There are many more models of making money with internet marketing such as the infoproduct business model or the site flipping model.
