Article directories will, at least, allow you to have links in your signature. These are do-follow links. Otherwise, there will be few submissions from among online marketers..
If you are promoting affiliate links, some article directories like Ezine Articles may not accept such links. You will need to have at least your own free blog to link to.
If you also want to find do-follow blogs to make comments on, just Google “do-follow blogs”.
