Pay per action means you get paid only when the visitor performs the action defined by the advertiser. It can be sales lead, purchase of the product, click on the link. For example, the advertiser set that they will pay you $35 everytime someone agrees to purchase their product from your link.

Usually pay per action costs the person doing the advertising something everytime someone clicks on there advertisement. It’s like paying for leads. All the sites will tell you that they make sure your text ads are shown in all the right spots, but that’s hard to have happen a lot of times so do a lot of research if you’re thinking about trying something like Google Adwords and make sure that you’re niche isn’t over populated. Other than that, just read what the first person said and you get an idea of what pay per action essentially is from that particular point of view. Best of luck to you.

You do something like sign up for a free program or click a link and you get paid.
