Hi Marcus,
Here are a few tips:
1. Don’t advertise the site directly, instead offer a free item like a report, video or ebook related to your site topic and advertise that. This will build your list of people interested in your topic that you can then market to as often as you want for free.
2. You must have a system in place to track your signups and sales BEFORE you start marketing. You can use Google Analytics for this. My tracking shows me that 90% of my advertising is wasted and tracking lets me quickly dump poor performing advertising and marketing techniques and refocus.
3. Video is the new way to promote online. A great service for this is Tube Mogul.
I put together a video of common mistakes “newbies” make that Internet Marketing Gurus don’t.
Best of luck with your online ventures!

have a service or product to sell and offer, advertise and affiliate with related internet businesses. if you have your website, make it a point to update and edit it once in while to show that you are taking care of it, also worthwhile content are a must to give your visitors or viewers something or convince them to purchase something that they need. blog for backlinks through quality-rich content articles. keyword research are of help. social bookmarking can help you spread advertise your products through the web. learn seo and ethical link building to avoid being kicked out of search engines.
You may also try joining forums and internet marketig community groups.

Hi Marcus
Great to meet an ambitious young man. Would like to help but am not sure what you are asking. Unclear what you mean by starting it.
Do you have a product ?
You say you have bought a site do you mean you have a webpage ?
Have you arranged for your web presence to be hosted on the internet ?.
Have you made plans about how you are going to attract customers to view your products and how you will fill/despatch orders and collect money?
Would be pleased to help if I know what you need.
Cheers
Mary

Your best bet is to look at joining a membership community who will guide you through everything as its not just as easy as setting up a site and then the money comes rolling in.
My personal suggestion is dumb affiliate
here is some information about it http://squidoo.com/dumb-affiliate-
Hope this helps and good luck to you :)

Try this FREE place,
http//www.createinfo.com
They don’t make you put a link to their site on your website!
Plus they place real ads, NOT classifieds.
Thank you
