but why would i or any biz owner let any one know unless u provide a profit to us. :-)

Hi there,
The best strategy that I can share with you is to follow up with your prospects.
People very rarely purchase anything on their first visit to a site, on average it takes 7 visits before they do.
I recommend that you invest in a good autoresponder service, this will allow you to send email follow ups to your prospective customers on autopilot.
In order to send follow ups you need to capture your prospective customers email address. The autoresponder service will supply you with code to put on your own website to create an opt in box that will allow you to do this.
Just because you have the opt in box on your site, don’t assume that people will just give you their email address for nothing. You will have to offer something of value in exchange.
For example: You run an online dvd store, to get people to sign up to your list you could offer a weekly newsletter detailing special offers and a 10% saving off of their next order. You will then be able to repeatedly email these prospects for as long as they stay on your list.
Hope this helps you,
Martin.
